Bulan is a spritely Basenji female who is very food-oriented and has a high pack drive – she enjoys training in obedience but needs more work on self-control. She has a medium level of suspicion towards environmental unknowns but settles quickly after an initial investigation.

She is trustworthy and calm in social contexts (public transport, construction work, fireworks etc.) and but needs a structured introduction when it comes to rowdy children — once familiar, she is extremely affectionate and gentle. She is not a fan of strange dogs and is easily triggered into chasing small animals.

Female, 1 year and 11 months old. Lightly built female. Fine bones. Good expression. Sufficiently carried head with wrinkles. Complete scissor bite. Beautiful eyes. Well-carried ears. Sufficient neck with deep chest. Tail with good curl, set high. Slightly steep in shoulder. Well-angulated rear. Gait still a bit messy. Fine short coat, red with white markings. Excellent.

2 years, bitch of smaller size, feminine head and expression, good wrinkle, nice ears, dark eyes, long thin neck that is set too straight in body, good top line, well set and curled tail, lovely shelf, shoulder could be a bit better laid back, straight upper arm, balanced angulation, moves parallel, could have better reach and drive, lovely temperament, needs more time.
